Supervisor messages are one line. Worker reports, merge and needs-you notices, milestone results and autopilot nudges each arrive as a single line with the sender, the outcome and any action to take. The full text is still one read_messages call away. This works the same on Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity supervisors.
More checks run at once. brindle now runs up to 4 branch checks at a time on this machine, up from 2. Set check_concurrency to change it (0 means no cap).
Fixes
brindle -s codex no longer changes your default. Naming a CLI with -s picks the supervisor for that run only. Only a choice made in the picker (brindle -s on its own) is remembered.
Agents can't change your settings. brindle commands run by an agent in a pane no longer write ~/.brindle/config.json or sync settings.
No more Google sign-in tabs on Vertex. Claude panes no longer each open a browser sign-in when Google credentials fail. When a Vertex login really lapses, brindle pauses the session and tells you once which command to run.
Antigravity supervisors get their first message. An agy supervisor could miss its instructions at startup. Messages held back while a pane looked busy are now retried, and stale "new messages" notices no longer wake a supervisor for an empty turn.
